The village of Vathi grows along the beach in the southwestern part of the island. You can enjoy swimming in the turquoise waters and stroll in the fine sand. It is an ideal place for children as the waters are quiet and shallow. There are many picturesque taverns serving local delicacies and fresh fish, as well as a small coffee house in the shade of which you can relax.
